Counselling for children allows kids to explore their feelings and the issues that are troubling them. In doing so they can better understand their emotions, their place in the world and how they can take on challenges in the future. We invite you to fill in the contact form and you will receive a 10min free consultation call to go through your concerns and discuss the right course of action for the child, it’s essential that you provide a contact number that we can easily get in touch with the referrer. No matter the circumstances, you can expect the counselling services to be delivered to the highest ethical and professional standards. Our child counsellors are experienced in child-led therapy, possess advanced qualifications in this field and are all checked through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) to assess their suitability to work with children. Each counsellor in addition has specialism within their field – behaviour, bullying, self Image, eating disorder, family separation, young carers, looked after children, gender identity Etc… This will be discussed in your consultation call to allocate the most appropriate counsellor to the child. Confidentiality is important in our field to provide each child with an environment that they can connect and thrive with the counsellor. We understand that the referrer can find this difficult; we do advice, if you feel you are not able to work with this level of confidentiality to consider attending a parent/carer consultation where you are able to talk through your concerns and produce an action plan alongside the counsellor. We accept referral from solicitors, charities, children services, CAMHS, schools, GP insurance and EAP companies.
