Young People Counselling

Young person counselling, also referred to as youth counselling or adolescent therapy, is a specialised form of mental health support tailored to the unique needs of teenagers and young individuals. It involves a trained counsellor or therapist working with young people to address various emotional, social, or behavioural challenges they may be facing. The goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where young individuals can explore their feelings, navigate the challenges of adolescence, and develop coping skills. The counsellor collaborates with the young person to promote emotional well-being, improve communication, and address issues such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics, peer relationships, and self-esteem.
